Forest Trail started with a simple idea: create a space in Mint Hill where we would want to hang out.

Great coffee in the morning. Cocktails after work. Live music, trivia, open mics, markets, and plenty of reasons to stick around longer than you planned.

It quickly became obvious that what we were doing, above all else, was creating a community. That accidentally became the thing we did best. Now, we intend to imbue that into everything we do.

We aim to be the best coffee shop in the CLT area. We want to be the best cocktail bar in the CLT area. But tastes are fickle. They change. What doesn't change is our natural desire for community.

That's why, with everything we do, we focus on you.

Earlier this year, circumstances beyond our control forced us to leave our original location sooner than we expected. It was a long time coming. In truth, we had well outgrown that first space.

But Forest Trail was never a house. It was us. All of us.

So we're building it again. A new space, a bigger vision, and the same commitment to the thing that mattered most from the beginning:
